RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Philip E. Thibodeau Sr. was celebrated Friday at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Angelo LeVasseur was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Amazing Grace,” “This Is My Father’s World,” “Ave Maria” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.” Readings were done by granddaughters Deanna Kersey and Meagan Thibodeau. The eulogy was given by his son, Richard Thibodeau. Pallbearers were grandsons, Zachary Thibodeau, Nathaniel Thibodeau, Richard Peale and Ian Peale. Spring interment will be in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed in the parish hall. Military honors were by the Maine Military Funeral Honors Program. Services were under the care of SG Thibault Funeral Home.
