BETHEL – Oxford County Republicans will hold their annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 28, beginning with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. at the Bethel Inn Conference Center.
A buffet dinner will follow at 6:30, featuring top sirloin and baked stuffed chicken. At 7:30 p.m. the program will feature a 200th birthday celebration of Abraham Lincoln, born on Feb. 12, 1809, and his first vice president, Hannibal Hamlin of Maine, born on Aug. 27, 1809, at Paris Hill.
There will also be raffles and an auction.
Tickets for the event are $30 each. Those attending should send their checks, payable to the Oxford County Republican Committee, to Lynn Hamper, treasurer, Oxford County Republican Committee, 1023 King St., Oxford, ME 04270, prior to Thursday, Feb. 19.
