FARMINGTON – Matt MacKenzie collected the game-winning field goal with eight seconds left as Husson secured a 77-73 overtime victory over Maine-Farmington.

Eric Taylor notched a double-double for the Beavers (8-10) with 20 points and 10 rebounds as did Josh Tanguay with 15 points and 11 caroms.

UMA 54, NH Tech 52

AUSUSTA – Freshman forward Herby Davis tossed a clutch 3-pointer with less than 10 seconds remaining to lift the Maine-Augusta to a 54-52 victory over New Hampshire Tech.

Moses Brathwaite notched a double-double on 15 points and 19 rebounds for UMA.

Freshman guard Reno Gilbert scored a game-high 26 points for the Lynx (12-10) in the losing effort.

FARMINGTON – Bree Hanscom drained 20 points as Husson sailed to a 78-67 victory over Maine-Farmington.

Caitlyn Laflin and Erin Porter paced the Beavers with 17 and 16 points, respectively.
