LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday for the Rev. Roger J. Ouellette at Holy Family Church under the direction of The Fortin Group Funeral Home. The Rev. Andrew Dubois, Vicar General, concelebrated the liturgy, assisted by Msgr. Rene Mathieu, Homilist, the Rev. Lionel Chouinard, Msgr. Marc Caron, the Rev. Sylvio Levesque who proclaimed the first reading and the Rev. Brian Blanchette who proclaimed the second reading. A large delegation of Diocesan priests were present. The prayer of the faithful was proclaimed by Ann LeClair, niece. Committal was held at St. Peter’s Cemetery with the Rev. Dubois and Msgr. Caron officiating. An honor guard was provided to the Rev. Ouellette by the Rev. Peter Conroy Assembly and the Msgr. T.H. Wallace Assembly Knight of Columbus. Pallbearers were Roger, Raymond, Jim and Donald LeClair, Leo and Rene Sirois.
