AUGUSTA (AP) – The state Senate has confirmed two nominees for the Maine Human Rights Commission.

Paul Vestal of Plymouth won unanimous backing for reappointment. Kenneth Fredette of Newport also was approved without dissent.

Both Senate votes Thursday were 33-0. Senate action came without debate.
