COATESVILLE, Pa. (AP) – Investigators in southeastern Pennsylvania have declared the 23rd arson of the year in the urban region that includes the Philadelphia suburb of Coatesville.
The latest blaze destroyed a mobile home just outside Coatesville late Thursday. Investigators now say the blaze was arson.
The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says there have been 18 cases of arson in the city of Coatesville and five in the surrounding area since Jan. 1. There were 15 arson blazes in the city last year.
Investigators have not made any arrests.
The Coatesville police chief announced Friday that a curfew now requires everyone under the age of 18 to be off the streets by 8 p.m. The city’s curfew had been 10 p.m.
