NEW YORK (AP) – Police in New York City say two men and a woman have been killed in a Manhattan apartment.

Sgt. Kevin Hayes says the bodies were found in the Upper West Side apartment shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday, with a gun nearby. It’s unclear when they died.

Hayes says police don’t know whether the three were related or whether any of the victims lived in the eighth-floor apartment. He says no one else was there when the woman and one man were found on the floor, and a second man was found in a chair.

The names and ages of the dead haven’t been released.

Detectives are talking to residents of the building. A man answering the phone at the building office declined to comment and hung up.
