BOSTON, Mass. – Lois Jean Rogers, 78, of Norway died on Thursday, Feb. 5, at Massachusetts General Hospital.

She was born in South Paris on Nov. 21, 1930, the daughter of Kenneth and Minola Dean Millett. She attended Norway schools and had been employed at Wilner Wood Products, but the majority of her life was spent as a homemaker.

She married Lyman I. Rogers on June 14, 1947, who died Jan. 2, 2002.

She was a member of the Pythian Sisters and Norway Baptist Church.

She enjoyed reading, sewing and cooking. She was the greatest Mom and will be missed by her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Lois Caron and her husband, Richard, of Oxford; a son, Lyndon Rogers and his wife, Vicki, of Norway; granddaughters, Christina and Ron Jackson of Oxford, Melissa Caron of Orlando, Fla., Chandra Rogers of Norway and Danielle Rogers of Cumberland; a grandson, Scott Rogers of Cumberland; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Janice Slattery and her husband, William, of West Minot; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sons, Allan and Lauren.
