Lewiston – People are invited to attend a meeting Thursday with the Androscoggin County legislative delegation to discuss the Central Maine Power Co. power line upgrade project.

Members of the county delegation will discuss legislative efforts related to the upgrade, including a discussion of whether it makes sense for the state, possible alternatives to the upgrade and an update on LD 44, a legislative proposal dealing with high voltage transmission lines.

The meeting will be an opportunity for people to express their concerns and ask the Legislature to advocate on their behalf. It will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch St.
