Recent news has surfaced among news stations in America regarding the cutting of the educational school week. Fuel costs have been on the rise since the 1970’s, but now researchers are thinking that cutting out just one of the extra driving days of the five day school week will improve the economic load.

This for many, though, will not be the case; the younger children will need daycare, which doesn’t come cheap these days, or others will be burdening their other family members to babysit. This is going to cause more financial troubles than ever. Sometimes in our effort to save money we become shortsighted and our long-term stability is negatively affected. We have been going to school for a 5-day span for what seems like eternity, why now would we want to change that? Having this routine gives us stability in our lives, as sometimes it can get chaotic living in our fast paced society.
