NORWAY – Norway Savings Bank announces that Becky Mason has been promoted to vice president and loan officer. She works from the bank’s main office in Norway.

Mason began her career with Norway Savings Bank in 1992 as a teller in the Norway office. She has worked her way up through the branch system, also serving as a customer service representative and a branch manager. In her most recent position, Mason served as assistant vice president and mortgage specialist, where she became the bank’s first outside mortgage originator.

Mason is a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. She has taken and taught many banking-related courses through the Center for Financial Training. She is a board member of the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce and is the chairman of the chamber’s membership committee. Mason also actively participates in the Western Maine Board of Realtors’ fundraisers and the Annual Manufactured Home Show.
