Harvest canceled

LIVERMORE – The annual ice harvest at Washburn Norlands Living History Center, originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 14, has been canceled due to poor ice conditions. There are 6 inches of standing water on the ice.

Lodge meeting

AUBURN – Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 will gather at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, in the recreation room at the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Home, 85 Caron Lane, for a social meeting.

Plans will be made for the past presidents of the assembly to do the Rebekah Degree at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28. In honor of Presidents Day, a program will be presented on U.S. presidents.

Bridge play

LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Feb. 9 were: first, Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos; second, Nancy Glusker and Anna Vitiello; third/fourth tie, Lue Bilodeau and Luke Merry with Nancy Lindgren and Pete Cummings; first in B, Cynthia and Bill Clifford; second in B, Helen Little and Alberta Turner.

Games are played at 9 a.m. Mondays at the Multi-Purpose Center. A partner is guaranteed. Call Rosemarie Goodwin at 754-1431 for information about all duplicate bridge games.
