FARMINGTON – A Mass of Christian burial for Lorraine W. Whittier of Farmington was held Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Middle Street, Farmington, with the Rev. Robert Lavoie officiating, following a family prayer service at the Wiles Remembrance Center, Farmington. The first reading was recited by her daughter, Cindy Wells, and the responsorial by her grandson, Matt Whittier. Her grandchildren served as pallbearers, Matt Whittier, Elizabeth Whittier-Fusaro, Zak Lorenz, Brittany Whittier, Kelsey Whittier, Katie Wells and Alex Wells. A eulogy on behalf of her entire family was given by her daughter, Kristin Lorenz. After Mass, a family reception was held at the parish hall, hosted by the Altar Guild.
