Sgt. Roy Hodsdon of the Mexico Police Department questions witnesses in the parking lot of Wal-Mart following a car-pedestrian accident late Thursday afternoon. Mexico resident Steven Santos, 53, was taken to Rumford Hospital by Med-Care Ambulance Service with non-life threatening injuries where he was still being evaluated Thursday evening. The driver of the 1997 Saab that hit Santos was Arthur Haseltine, 71, of Roxbury.
