NORWAY – Lillian Mabel Harrington Moore, 95, died in the early morning hours of Sunday, Feb. 15, at Stephens Memorial Hospital, with her family by her side.

She was born East Bethel, on Feb. 27, 1913, to Samuel Dana and Evelyn Jane (Bartlett) Harrington. She was educated in Bethel Schools.

She married Harold Wayne Moore on Nov. 20, 1930, at the Congregational Parsonage in Gorham, N.H.

She enjoyed picking apples, cooking and canning produce from their garden, digging clams and spending time at their camp on Flying Point in Freeport.

She thoroughly enjoyed her work and many friends at the Norway Shoe Shop, where she worked for many years. In recent years, she especially looked forward to the family’s weekly Sunday dinners.

She is survived by a daughter, June Moore Andrews of South Paris; two granddaughters, Linda Lee Andrews and Virginia May Andrews, both of Buckfield; and three great-granddaughters, Meghan Elizabeth Andrews-Wright of Buckfield, Shannon Keziah Andrews of Auburn and Ariana Hali Andrews Wilson of Buckfield.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Wayne Moore, on Oct. 27, 1996; and her siblings, Iva Harrington, Pauline Smith, Freda Edmunds, Nellie Olson and Chester Harrington.
