LEWISTON – Two members of St. Mary’s Center for Physical Rehabilitation have earned Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist distinction.

Occupational therapists Alison Almlov Fenton, MOT OTR/L CEAS, and Jennifer Mower, MOT OTR/L CEAS, were certified in office and industrial ergonomic analysis. Certification allows Fenton and Mower to identify the anatomical areas susceptible to injuries and differentiate the causes, signs and symptoms of muscular skeletal disorders; identify and implement correct methods for controlling risk factors; assist in implementing prevention strategies; and facilitate an OSHA ergonomics job site analysis.
