MECHANIC FALLS – Every Tuesday, starting Feb. 24, Big Daddy’s Pub will present live music performed by Lindsey Montana and guests.
Besides his solo material, Montana’s propensity for collaboration on a variety of instruments will bring some flexibility to the evening. “Hopefully, various musician friends will be dropping by. I’d like each night to be different while showcasing great local talent,” said Montana. “We’re going to be reviving forgotten classic rock, some bluegrass, folk and even some original tunes from time to time.”
Montana has played with dozens of Maine bands and is currently recording a CD of original material. He is also contributing custom audio and consulting work for “Incredible Friends,” a music-oriented TV show to be aired soon on Portland’s public access channel.
The Tuesday shows are 8 to 11 p.m.; no cover. Big Daddy’s Pub is at 5 North Main St., across from Cumberland Farms. Call 345-3782 for more information.
