The Lewiston Junior Maineiacs Squirt travel team won three games in the Bangor area this past weekend.

They opened the weekend with a 2-0 victory over Bangor Black. Isaac Dube scored in the first peirod from Ryley Austin and Luc Dostie added a goal in the second period.

The Junior Maineiacs goalie Kyle Welsh his seocnd consecutive shutout with a 5-0 win over Brewer. Conrad Grimmer scored a pair of goals, while Joe Bisson, Bryce Leger and Dube also scored. Dostie had two assists. Austin, Cooper Richard and Noah Buiniskas also had assists.

They completed the weekend sweep with a 5-1 win over the Junior Black Bears. Grimmer, Richard, Dostie, Bisson and Jeromey Rancourt were the goal scorers, while Bission, Richard, Leger, Buiniskas, Grimmer and Justin Keaney had assists.Welsh lost his shutout midway through the second period.

Playing solid defense were Austin, Dostie, Rancourt and Kyle Morin.
