BETHEL – Warm Indian pudding served from the hearth of the winter kitchen of the Dr. Moses Mason House will be one of the activities scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 21, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Bethel Historical Society’s 35th annual Heritage Day.

Other activities include an appraisal for up to two antiques or collectibles by Jay Boschetti of Steam Mill Antiques for a donation of $5; traditional craft demonstrations and exhibits; historical films; and a genealogical round table led by genealogist Steve Seames.

Tours of the Mason House will be available as well as the exhibits on the Androscoggin River, the Maine Grange, Bethel history, Maine barns, Robinson House and Maine minerals.

The museum shop will also be open and copies of Eva Bean’s “East Bethel Road” (second edition) will be available at a discount, which honors the 50th anniversary of the appearance of first edition of the book.

Everyone is welcome to celebrate New England and American heritage.
