BOSTON (AP) – A motor vehicle has crashed into a Mobil gas station’s pump, injuring seven people.
The SUV struck the pump Thursday at 85 Southampton Street in Boston, but police and firefighter officials said no fuel was spilled and there was no fire.
Authorities said the station’s extinguishing system went off above the pump when the car crashed.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash.
Boston police said seven people have been transported to Boston Medical Center. One is in serious condition.
The SUV slammed into a woman pumping gas, pinning her for a short while.
