Snowmobile hill climb revving up on mountain
RUMFORD – Black Mountain will hold its second of three scheduled snowmobile hill climbs at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27.
There will be an up to 500 class, up to 699 class, up to 899, 900 and up and open classes. There will also be two classes for women. Trophies will be awarded for first, second and third place in men’s and women’s classes.
The last race filled up through preregistrations. Entries are limited. The lodge will open at 4 p.m. for bib pick-up and last-minute registration, subject to space availability. It will end at 5 p.m.
All participants must sign a waiver, and those under age 18 must have the signature of a parent or guardian. Registration forms are available at www.skiblackmountain.org.
The café and Last Run Lodge will be open at 5 p.m.
