This is in response to the story “Crude down, but gas still up,” printed Feb 16.
I can’t imagine how the two Associated Press writers could write such a story filled with so much garbage. Nowhere in the story were the words “greedy,” “billions in profits,” “price fixing,” etc., used. I don’t believe that anyone would believe any part of that story unless he had his head in the sand.
The quote by Tom Kloza, publisher and chief oil analyst at Oil Price Information Service, just opened the door for the oil companies to go directly to a price of $2.50 per gallon.
Good work. They all deserve a free gallon of gas.
