WEST PARIS – Petronela T. Norris, 94, of Peru, died Thursday, Feb. 19, at the Ledgeview Living Center.
She was born in Rumford, on Jan. 1, 1915, the daughter of Joseph and Petronela (Shaltmertis) Jeselskis, and had attended schools in Peru.
She enjoyed sewing and quilting and was a member of the Canton Quilting Club. She also enjoyed gardening, antiquing and had worked with her son at Norris Antiques in Dixfield for many years.
She was married in Peru, on June 19, 1932, to the late former State Sen. Frank Norris Sr., who died March 5, 1995.
Survivors include her son, Joseph “Chummy” Norris and wife, Lucille, of Peru; daughter, Sally Ranaldi and husband, Ronald, of Simsbury, Conn.; granddaughters, Cathy Reagen, Pam Gardner and husband, Roger, Brenda Freeman and husband, Andy, Jolene Norris and Laura Ranaldi and husband, Jon Hatch; great-grandchildren, Dustin and Chelsea Freeman, Erin and Joe Gardner, Shawn and Joshua Blanchard.
She was predeceased by her son, Frank Norris Jr.; and a brother, Joseph Jeselskis Jr.
