POLAND – The whimsical comedy “The Silver Whistle” will be presented by The Poland Players Thursday and Friday, Feb. 26-27, at Poland Regional High School.

Mysterious stranger Oliver Erwenter seems to have located the elixir of youth, or at least residents of the local elderly residential home hope so. But is he telling the truth? Everyone is certainly captivated by the stranger’s charm and stories, including Miss Tripp, much to the dismay of her fiancé, the minister. And why is that tramp hovering in the shadows?
