I was not surprised to find a feature (Feb. 19) about Rhonda Tilley, “Hockey mom,” in the City section of the Sun Journal. She worked for us more than 10 years ago and we felt the same way about her efforts at work. She always came to work with a smile on her face and could outwork most of us, despite her busy home schedule.

I think she is an example of what is best about old-school Maine gals.

I have long considered her one of Maine’s undiscovered gems, so it came as no surprise that the Sun Journal recognized her extraordinary dedication to her children.
