It is my belief that the definition of a political moderate is someone who either has no set of core values or, if he or she does, lacks the courage to stand up for them.

I don’t know which is the case with the two U.S. senators from Maine. Their irresponsible votes on the government handout/pork barrel bill has taken this country one giant step toward socialism and bankruptcy.

God help us all.
