LEWISTON – The wedding of Tanya Louise Turgeon and Matthew Michael Leen was held at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 at New Hope Bible Church in Lewiston. Michael Martin, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Leen is the daughter of Robert and Vicki Turgeon of Auburn. Mr. Leen is the son of Peter and Tammy Leen of Lisbon.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a floor-length strapless white gown with cascading veil and she carried a bouquet of red roses with baby’s breath.

Kristy White was matron of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids were Lisa Gonzalez, Stacy Coombs, Hannelore Pena, Miah Bulos and Karen Sculli, friends of the bride. Alyssa Doherty, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

Serving as best man for his friend was Chris Maclaughlin. Ushers were Brandon Roberts, Mike Obie, Mike Untkofler and Tony Soucy, friends of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at the Carriage House in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to New Hampshire. They are residing in Brunswick.

The bride is a 2002 home school graduate and a 2006 graduate of Mt. Zion School of Ministry. In 2007, she graduated as a certified nurses aide.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Lisbon High School and is employed at MaineCoast Woodwrights.
