LEWISTON – Two people were taken to Central Maine Medical Center following an accident early Friday morning on Center Street in Auburn.

Suzanne M. and William R. Currier, ages 45 and 46, respectively, were hurt in the 12:45 a.m. crash in front of 493 Center St. According to Auburn police, the vehicle driven by Suzanne Currier was northbound on Center when a vehicle driven by Richard A. Bonang, 54, of Auburn collided with her vehicle.

Damage to Currier’s 1995 Jeep was estimated at $5,000; to Bonang’s 2003 Ford van, $15,000.
