In the winter, trees are full of snow and food is hard to find for the animals. If you really want to help them, you can leave out food. You can leave out corn, bird seed and maybe some leftovers like carrots, cabbage and oranges.

So the food doesn’t get buried fast, shovel out the place where you are going to put the food. The animals will love the food you set out. For birds, you can set out bird seed and some bird baths. If you are going to set bird baths, fill them up with hot water so they don’t freeze as fast. Make sure to refill it everyday so it doesn’t freeze and to try to put as much food as possible. If you don’t want foxes, then I wouldn’t set out any meat.

I hope by reading this article you will help the animals during the winter.
