LEWISTON – Barbara Lauze, owner of The Basket Case gift-basket company, has taken over The Perfect Basket company from Celeste Yakawonis, who has operated the business in the Lewiston-Auburn area for the last 10 years.
Lauze began The Basket Case in August 2007, and has been working with Yakawonis for the past year in preparation for taking over The Perfect Basket’s operation and clientele.
Lauze said that as she merges her clientele with the clientele from The Perfect Basket, she will continue to offer the same products and level of quality and service, while also developing new offerings.
