KENTS HILL – Maranacook Squirt Hockey won two games and tied one in the Midcoast Classic last weekend. Maranacook shut out Auburn, 6-0, and rolled past Bangor, 9-1, before a 5-5 tie against Lewiston Jr. Maineiacs.

Brandon Coulombe scored four goals against Auburn. Mat Welch and Joey Baumann each lit the lamp once. Nick Cerullo chalked up two assists, with single assists from Baumann and Hunter Tims. Jack Vickerson posted the shutout in goal.

Welch scored four times in the Bangor triumph. Zack Godbout and Baumann each added a apir of goals, with Coulombe collecting another. Joey McLain scored the sole counter for Bangor. Vickerson and Patrick Miller each picked up a pair of assists for Maranacook, with one each by Godbout, Baumann and Coulombe. Jason St. Pierre was the victorious goalie.

Coulombe, Baumann, Welch, Godbout and St. Pierre each scored a single goal in the wild contest against Lewiston. Gavin Bates notched the hat trick for the Jr. Maineiacs, with Brady and Zach Guimond each contributing a goal. Baumann tallied three assists for Maranacook (26-5-2), while Cerullo, Zack Davidson and Welch added one apiece. Riley Whitcomb logged a Lewiston assist. Vickerson and Brett Bannister of Lewiston were the goalies.
