NORWAY – The Family Birthplace at Stephens Memorial Hospital will hold a sibling preparation class for big brothers- and sisters-to-be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, in the board room at the hospital.

Carol Welsh, RN, perinatal education coordinator for the Family Birthplace, will be the facilitator of the class, which focuses on helping kids learn how to become a big brother or sister through role-playing.

The kids will learn how to help parents with easy chores, talk about feelings about the upcoming birth, safe sharing and making their own space.
