Friday, Feb. 27, Portland band Dead End Armory will perform with singer/songwriter Pecos Bill at She Doesn’t Like Guthries in Lewiston. A four-piece rock band, including guitarist Jesse Pilgrim, above, Dead End Armory’s sound ranges from spare, solemn songs to cacophonous noise. Saturday, Feb. 28, Maybe Utah will return to perform at the restaurant/cafe at 115 Middle St. Led by the singing, songwriting and guitar playing of Matt Newberg, Maybe Utah is a rock band with blues, country and folk roots. Other band members are Darren Finnegan, bass; Mason Thayer, keyboard; and Alex Mills, drums. Maybe Utah is currently working on releasing its debut CD. Both shows begin at 9 p.m.; there is no cover.
