AUBURN – Auburn-Lewiston YMCA is offering a T-ball instructional program for 5- and 6-year-old boys and girls. The program starts Saturday, March 7 and ends Saturday, April 11. The program will have two sessions. Session one runs from 9 to 10 a.m., with session two from 10 to 11 a.m. Sessions will be held in the gymnasium at the ‘Y’.

The program is designed to teach the children the basic skills needed to play T-ball. Children will learn proper techniques for throwing, fielding, hitting, and running the bases. Children need to supply their own gloves and wear appropriate footwear. Please, no cleats. Registration is under way and may be completed at the front desk of the YMCA. Cost is $35 for members and $40 for nonmembers. Children will receive a t-shirt and certificate upon completion of program.
