WEST PARIS – A surprise 50th wedding anniversary party was held for Glendon and Martha Hadley of West Paris at 6 p.m. on Jan. 31 at Market Square Restaurant in South Paris.

They were married in Sumner on Feb. 1, 1959.

About 29 family members attended the celebration. Many laughs were shared during the supper. Gifts and cards were given and a large cake made by their daughter, Laurie, was served.
