LEWISTON – The improvisational comedy troupe Mainely Improv will return Saturday, March 14, for another evening of fun at Marco’s Restaurant.

Much in the style of TV’s “Whose Line Is It, Anyway?,” Mainely Improv performs comic skits on the spot, based entirely on suggestions from the audience. “When the show starts, we have no idea what we will do during the course of the evening,” said Dan Marois, who with his wife, Denise, owns and operates Mainely Improv and Mystery for Hire.

The evening begins with a 45-minute show followed by a break when audience members dine. Afterward, the troupe returns for another 45-minute performance.

While the cast of Mainely Improv varies, there is a core group of performers: Dan and Denise Marois of Poland Spring: Chuck Waterman of Gorham, Julie Poulin of Monmouth, Brian Files of Gardiner and Katie Marois of Poland Spring.

Tickets are $36.95 per person, which includes a full buffet, tax and gratuity. Doors open at 6:15 p.m., with the show starting at 7 p.m.

For reservations, call Marco’s at 783-0336. For more information, visit mysteryforhire.com.
