FARMINGTON – Harold “Huey” A. Potter, 61, of Industry passed away Monday, March 2, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 16, 1947, in Augusta, the son of Frank Stanley and Virginia (Turner) Potter. He was educated in the schools of Farmington. He married Judith Olson in Weld on May 29, 1993. Huey worked for many years in Connecticut, for a large real estate management company.

Nine years ago, he and his wife, Judy, moved to Industry, where he enjoyed tinkering on automobiles, working with his stepson, and being with his pets. He was the kind of man who would drop whatever he was doing to help a friend in need.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; his mother, Virginia; his daughter, Heidi A. Potter of Florida; his stepsons, James C. Olson and his girlfriend, Christina, of Industry and Christopher J. Olson and his wife, Terri, of Connecticut; two stepgrandchildren, Christopher and Tia; three sisters, Patricia Michaeli, Sherry Wright and Gina Potter; two brothers, Howard and Harvey Potter; special aunt and uncle, Ronald and Rosalie St. Pierre; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father; and his stepson, Jeffrey Olson.
