AUGUSTA (AP) – The state energy office says the average cash price for heating oil in Maine has dropped another nickel to $2.15 a gallon.
In its latest statewide survey, the Governor’s Office of Energy Independence and Security said Tuesday that southern Maine had the lowest average price at $2.02 a gallon.
The highest price was in northern Maine, at $2.27 a gallon.
The survey also showed the propane fell 15 cents in the past week to $2.77 a gallon.
Kerosene was selling for an average of $2.60 a gallon.
