Lately I have been reading the letters to the editor in the Sun Journal and seeing both sides of the question, “What would happen if gay marriage became legal in Maine?”
It seems, for the most part, that a lot of the same people have the same fears that it will cause “social chaos,” or even worse.
I wonder if these people have read the same paper that I have lately?
Have they seen the headlines of: “Maine man charged with breaking son’s legs,” or “Mom’s truck-stop sex endangered child, say police,” and “Topless cafe stirs the pot.”
I suggest to future readers that before there is any more future mudslinging or rock-throwing, we look in our own glass houses before judging one another.
