Kids will make a book during workshops
NORWAY – BookWorks, a book-making workshop, will take place on four Monday afternoons starting March 16 for students ages 9 to 12 at the Norway Memorial Library.
Each week, a different aspect of the book-making process will be explored: writing, illustrating, designing and binding.
Students are encouraged to attend all four weeks, but those who are unable to will still be able to participate and complete a project to take home.
BookWorks will run from 3:15 to 4:45 p.m. March 16, 23, 30 and April 6 and is free. If school is canceled in SAD 17, BookWorks will be canceled.
For more information or to register, visit the library children’s room or call 743-5308 by Friday, March 13. The library is at 258 Main St.
