It’s no secret – every one of us has secrets.

Realizing that we are all tied to each other in some way through our secrets, Frank Warren launched a unique experiment in 2004 for Artomatic in Washington, D.C. The original project started with 3,000 postcards, asking for people to submit anonymous secrets.

Warren distributed blank postcards to random individuals and left others in locations around the city. Since that first distribution, postcards have come from all over the globe at an average of 1,000 a week. Warren created the online blog postsecret.blogspot.com, which remains the largest, ad-free online blog; wrote four best-selling books; and tours college campuses with a live display of some of the postcards he has received.

During his campus lectures, Warren gives background stories to some of the secrets posted, and shares one of his own.
