AUGUSTA (AP) – Gov. John Baldacci has proposed appointments to the Maine Turnpike Authority and Land for Maine’s Future board.

If confirmed, Diane Doyle of Saco would go on the turnpike panel. Doyle owns a development and homebuilding company and has served on the Saco Comprehensive Planning Committee.

Nominated for the Land for Maine’s Future board is Donald Marean, a former legislator who prior to his retirement owned and operated Standish Hardware.

He has served as director and president of Maine Standardbred Breeders and Owners Association and on the Standish Planning Board. Marean is now a resident of Hollis.
