WILTON – Maine Women, Work and Community is offering a free, three-hour workshop for anyone interested in starting a business.

It is being offered at the Wilton CareerCenter, 865 U.S. Route 2 in East Wilton, on March 12, from 9 a.m.-noon.

The workshop will walk attendees through the pros and cons of owning their own businesses, showing how to get started, point out the major elements of a business plan, introduce resources available in the Franklin County area and help with the decision of whether self employment is the right choice.
