HEBRON – The Hebron Station School Scholarship Committee has announced it is starting a new scholarship, coordinated with the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School guidance office.

The award is intended for a graduating Oxford Hills Comprehensive School senior who is a resident of Hebron and intends to continue education after graduation in June.

Funding is coming from Hannaford of Oxford and staff and students who are hosting fundraising events at the school.

The recipient will receive a one-time gift of $500 after completing one semester at a post-secondary institution. Those who attended the Hebron Elementary and Hebron Station schools are eligible.

Anyone wishing to donate may send a gift to the Hebron Station School Scholarship Fund, c/o Norway Savings Bank, Norway.

The first recipient will be announced at Senior Night on June 11 at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.
