SACO (AP) – A 19-year-old man has been charged with intentionally setting a fire last month that destroyed a six-unit Saco apartment house in which he was living.
Sean D’Andrea-Nelson is being held at the York County Jail on $25,000 cash bail on the arson charge.
Investigators said the fire started on the front porch and spread up the side of the three-story building at about 1:25 a.m. on Feb. 4. Officials said 14 people were inside the building, but they escaped without injury through a rear stairway.
