AUGUSTA (AP) – Gov. John Baldacci is announcing a new and improved stimulus Web site. Maine’s site was first launched a month ago.
Baldacci said Friday the Web page dedicated to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act now provides access to up-to-date information about where and how federal recovery funds are dispersed in Maine.
The updated site also offers graphics showing allocation of stimulus funding in several categories, information about state programs that will receive funding, and additional resources regarding stimulus allocation and expenditures.
Richard Thompson, Maine’s chief information officer, said the site will be updated frequently and more detailed data will be available on the site soon.
