LEWISTON – The wedding of Jennifer Lynn Crocker and James Francis Folker was held at 1 p.m. on June 21 at Holy Family Church in Lewiston. Deacon Paul Murray officiated at the ceremony. A reception followed at Martindale Country Club in Auburn.
Mrs. Folker is the daughter of Scott and Sue Crocker of Lewiston. Mr. Folker is the son of Frank and Sharon Folker of Lewiston.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless white organza corset gown with beaded lace and Swarovski crystals. She carried a bouquet of pink and white Calla lilies.
Andrea Shalek, high school friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Folker, sister of the bridegroom, Joan Woodbrey, friend of the bride, Nicole Goulet, friend of the couple, and Bri O’Donnell, high school friend of the bride. Jillian Snapp, cousin of the bridegroom, was flower girl.
Dave Belisle, high school friend of the bridegroom, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Crocker, brother of the bride, Nate Petersen, friend of the bridegroom, and Marty Macisso and Angelo Giraulo, college friends of the bridegroom. Cade Merrill, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Lewiston High School, a 2001 graduate of Clark University in Worcester, Mass., and a 2003 graduate of Wheelock College in Boston with a master’s degree in education. She is employed at Fairview School in Auburn as a fifth grade teacher.
The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Leavitt Area High School, a 2003 graduate of the University of Southern Maine and a 2007 graduate of the University of New England with a master’s degree in social work. He is employed at the Renaissance School in Auburn as a clinical counselor.
The couple honeymooned in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, and resides with their yellow lab, Madison, at their home in Lewiston.
