WILTON – Police and medical examiners on Saturday were investigating the death of a young man whose body was found in the passenger seat of a car on the Weld Road.

Police said the death was not suspicious. They did not release the name of the man, described in a press release as a white male in his late teens or early 20s with a slender build. Identification was being withheld until the man’s family could be contacted.

Medical examiners will conduct an autopsy over the next few days, according to Wilton police.

Police say a woman called to report finding the car and an apparently deceased person in the passenger seat parked alongside Weld Road. The car was in an area with several other unoccupied vehicles. Police responded at 2:07 p.m.
