LIVERMORE – Maple Sugaring Days, held annually in late March at the Washburn Norlands Living History Center in Livermore, has been canceled for this year due to construction.

According to a statement from Norlands, staff and volunteers are preparing to reopen the buildings in late spring 2009.

Workers are rebuilding and repairing parts of the property that were destroyed or damaged by a fire in the fall of 2008.
