DURHAM – A 17-year-old driver escaped injury in a single-vehicle rollover on Bowie Hill Road at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday.

The teen was driving toward Davis Road when he lost control of his vehicle, which rolled over and landed on its roof in the roadway, said Maine State Trooper Tom Pappas.

Damage to the 1994 Toyota 4-Runner was estimated at $4,000. No charges were filed.

The teen’s name was not released by police because of his age.
